Biography

Lorenzo “Nada” is an Italian DJ / Producer based in Berlin.
In recent years he has produced albums, EP and mixtapes with the groups: “Il lato oscuro della costa” and “Delitto perfetto” before arriving at his solo project Godblesscomputers, a container of sounds, images and words. Swanism is his latest work in chronological order, a record where organic and liquids sounds are the musical texture for a perfect balance between hip hop, dub and electronic music.

FY!015 – Colossius – 4 ENZO B.I.G by Fresh yO! Label

Colossius bends music genres as he he sees fit, yet keeps his unmistakable touch full of silicon drum machines, clinically cut samples and old analog synths.

The set start out with a true hymn of the district where he come from: “Isol8″ that mixes hip-hop’s golden age with chicago juke and an unlikely Japanese rap. Then it’s time for “Volverine” with a rolling funk groove and little commodore styled voices. Next up is “Viale Ready” with its skwee bass, hi hat in triplets and stabs it projects you directly into the UK rave 90′s scene.

If the first part of the ‘e.p. is characterized by areas of soft light, in the second part we dive into a tunnel to a whirl of dark, hypnotic bass. Next is “Kilosa”, a new hybrid of juke and idm,
“Pyrotek” beats intimate flavor that brings us back to “Ether” experience, Colossius’s first band. “Overnait” is where the minimum squeezed funk emerges, seasoned with atomic explosions! Closing is “Bltz Taylor,” a cross between disco funk and alien obsessive mantra.

You saw him in league with Francesco Bigazzi, working on the abstract-idm band “Ether”. Then the project / partnership with Digi g’alessio in full exploration with minimal funk and wonky beats. Now he arrives with his third solo EP on Fresh yO! which is sure to be an instant classic!.

Colossius

Biography

Colossius is the new name/project of Andrea Bracali, one half of the duo Ether alongside with Francesco Bigazzi – They produced music for Betulla Records, AI Records, PersistenceBit, Mousikelab and also released three EPs on two netlabels: “AUB003” and “Interferenzo” for Audio Aubergine, and “4.3.40.30” for Homework Records.
In 2012 they produced a new Ep on 12″ called “Prejanka” on Lil Pitch Recordsfeaturing a remix by Pinch and one track on the “Appaloosa Rmx Vol 1″ out on Black Candy.
As Colossius, Andrea has produced music for Lo-Vibes, Fresh yO! and a remix for Taprikk Sweezee’s Repolyx released by Error Broadcast.
He also collaborates with Digi G’alessio, see the recent release “Dans avec le loops” on Bedroom Research and runs a Radio Show called Ragnampiza on Controradio with Francesco Bigazzi and Skool Bwoy Sound.
Andrea lives and works in Florence, Italy.

Biography

Digi G’Alessio is a project born in 2008 in Florence (IT) – it is a difficult project to catalog, but musically it draws on both hands in afro music in all its forms – the humor that shines through his production is the “common thread “that accompanies the listener into Digi’s personal journey: grotesque, savage and instinctive – he is a member of the project A Smile for Timbuctu – Digi G’Alessio produces music for many labels in order to spread love throughout the world.

Biography

Armand Rougier, introducing himself as Echo, is a french producer who plays Poptronick music since 2006. He has been an exuberant creator for years now, collaborating with labels such as Criminal Recordz, White Label Music, Winter Records, Eden Factory and Eidersound.
He released the LP “About to be a man” on Freshyo Label in 2010.
Combining its propulsive beats and insistent melodies, he will infect you with his personal sounds.

Cute Gangsta Crew

Biography

The crew was formed in 2007 and is the brainchild of Suzywan –
The idea being that artists she met from around the world would collaborate via the internet, sharing material and coming to a consensus on the final product. The result is a series of organic tracks, where each artist is involved in a dialogue with others.

Biography

was born in Bethnal Green – trained at Chelsea Art College – released his first album (Bushmeat) in 2004 on Big Dada records – will be releasing his second album in 2007 with Big Dada as a collaborative project with the Swiss electro jazz outfit Stade (Art Brut Fe De Yoot) – has worked with producers such as Blufoot, M3 and Part 2- enjoys making comic books, short films and soft toys – puts out his own improvised noise CDs – used to design Gameboy graphics – regularly pens illustrations for Hip Hop Connection Magazine – is a former FKO Raw freestyle battle champ – likes Sun Ra, Wesley Willis, David Bowie, Public Image, Willus Drummond, and Funkadelic – has reoccurring dreams of the end of the world – and recently lost his prize possession Barry Convex puppet but is determined to make a whole lot more.
